Markets Last Week: A Quick Recap

•  Nifty 50 rose 2.50% week-on-week (27–31 July), led by a rebound in IT and gains in Bajaj Finance, Jio Financial Services and Infosys.

•  Bharat Electronics, ONGC and Adani Ports were among the week's notable laggards.

•  FIIs turned net buyers, with inflows of ~₹2,982 crore on 29 July — the strongest single-day inflow since early July — while DIIs bought alongside them the same day.

•  USD/INR held near 95.65, seen as constructive for continued FII participation.
